Photography is about more than the final image. To me, it is about capturing fleeting moments and telling a story. YOUR story.
Photography is also about the experience. The relationship between a photographer and her subject should be candid and natural. At the end of a session, I have beautiful images AND new friends to show for it. I love getting to know my clients, listening to what really makes you you, and making those qualities shine in my photographs. My goal is for your friends and family to see your images and say, "OMG! That is so YOU!" That's why I welcome special props, unique locations, and signature outfits.
Photography has taught me how to see the world. I want to create beautiful, timeless images, and create them with beautiful souls so others can see life through my rose-colored glasses. If you've ever seen a photograph that gives you a warm, fuzzy feeling and makes your heart sing, you're looking at a beaming, beautiful soul radiating from that moment in time to the here and now. That's what I hope to capture in my images.
Finally, I believe that great photography isn't just about the subject: a photographer and client have to complement each other to create truly stellar images. A good photographer can take good photos of anyone. But if you want more than just good photos, we need to make sure we're a great fit. If you read about my "photographic philosophy" and think that we might be kindred spirits, chances are, we will create some gorgeous art together!
